Day 24 - Contract Meeting

I have always been a DISNEY baby. When I was young, my aunt who lived in New York would always send us flyers, magazines, toys from America and it included a wide array of Disney Animated videos (still on VHS tapes). Since then, it did not fail in building dreams and fantasies in me and my sisters of visiting the happiest place in the world, much more seeing our favourite princesses and characters in real life.

Today marks my 7th year of working for Hong Kong Disneyland as a Parade Performer. Together with old time friends from the Philippines, we have pretty much settled with our budding families. I have met the love of my life here and we are more than grateful of the opportunity to perform for thousands of people that visit the park. We believe that we own these talents to be able to bring gladness to people, young and old, and that to be able to do this is an everyday blessing from the Almighty up above.

We love what we do and that being said, we also get to attain happiness of our own as performing feeds our soul. I may be in light duty as of now because another Disney baby is on the way but I'm glad that my boss lets me look forward to what I do best. I was given another year to BRING HAPPINESS.
