Day 39 - Sending off a friend of 7 years to a new promising journey.

Hong Kong would not be fun at all

if not for good relationships I have established here.

With that much time, people had come and gone from my life.

Some have stayed and remained

to become one of the fondest memories.

Almost 7 years ago, I stepped in here with a bunch of people whom now are more than work colleagues. One of them is the inspiring Ms. Kristy Rae, who have had her last day yesterday at work. Watching her wave the lat time made me reminisce on a lot of memories on how my journey of spreading magic all began. We came to Hong Kong the same year and she had been a very good friend since then. To that, I feel truly excited for her next journey after working for the happiest place on earth for 23 years. She never hesitated on sparing a smile within the day if you bump to her anytime in the halls at the workplace; she wouldn't hesitate on showing up in occasions that are special to you; and most of all, her humility radiates as she unfailingly gives you a genuine compliment or the most non-judgemental opinion. I admire her for her beauty, light and sincerity. She loves her job and sets a good example to everybody. And now, she's ready to take that leap to start anew of what still awaits for her. Good luck Kristy! My family and I wish you all the best!
